벨베스

벨베스 is a 2-cost 태고족, 도전자 and 습격자 champion that usually plays as a midline utility unit. Use it as a flexible utility piece when the traits and board shape need that slot. 벨베스 appears in Swarm-Storm and NOVA YI lines, so keep copies when those boards are open.

Consider playing around 벨베스 when you naturally upgrade it between Stage 2 and Stage 3 and can afford to slow roll. For items, 거인 학살자 and 수은 are strong signals that 벨베스 can become a real carry. For team direction, it fits naturally when you are already moving toward Swarm-Storm and NOVA YI. If it stays one-star, the traits do not activate, or the items point elsewhere, treat it as a transition unit instead of forcing the line.

거인 학살자, 수은 and 크라켄의 분노 are recommended. 거인 학살자 helps cut through high-health frontliners, 수은 protects the carry from early crowd control and 크라켄의 분노 adds reliable physical scaling in long fights. The point of the setup is to give it enough uptime to convert its damage pattern into round wins.

When the perfect setup is not available, use 죽음의 검, 무한의 대검, 최후의 속삭임 and 밤의 끝자락 as substitutes. For damage substitutes, match the damage type and cast tempo instead of forcing random stats. If 벨베스 is only a trait slot, one useful item is enough and the premium items should go to your real carry or main tank.

Early: a two-star 벨베스 can stabilize well when 태고족, 도전자 and 습격자 is already active. Mid game: decide between slow rolling for upgrades or using it as a bridge while leveling. Late game: keep it when the items and traits still point toward it; otherwise upgrade into a higher-cost carry or tank.

Place 벨베스 in the second row or a protected side pocket. Let the main tank take initial aggro while 벨베스 steps in to cast or finish targets. It needs time to start casting, so avoid letting it get deleted immediately.
