Stargazer Milio Lulu: Anti-Melee Reroll Setup

GuideStargazerLulu

A Stargazer reroll guide built around 3-star Lulu, Jax, and Milio, covering conditions, board, items, positioning, augments, and tempo.

Milio Lulu is a high-cap Stargazer reroll comp in the current TFT meta. It relies on 3-star Lulu's frequent casts, Jax as the frontline, and Milio as the secondary carry to secure stable placements and even win lobbies.

What to remember

  • check_circleYou need an opening reroll or economy augment, and a Stargazer effect that works well with Lulu.
  • check_circleLulu prioritizes Jeweled Gauntlet and double Nashor's Tooth. Jax prioritizes Gargoyle Stoneplate, Crownguard, and Gargoyle Stoneplate. Milio adds Spear of Shojin, Rabadon's Deathcap, and Morellonomicon.
  • check_circlePosition around Stargazer hexes, and keep Milio and Lulu on the same side as the enemy main carry whenever possible.

Entry Conditions

Only consider entering when you open with a reroll or economy augment and the Stargazer effect fits Lulu. The best Stargazer effects are The Mountain, The Serpent, and The Medallion, letting Lulu use frequent casts for crowd control, resistance shred, or economy value.

If your economy is poor, pivot to Twisted Fate or another comp instead. Right now, this line is only recommended when the opening conditions are very smooth.

Standard Board

At level 8, the standard board is Aatrox, Twisted Fate, Jax, Pantheon, Milio, Maokai, Rhaast, and Lulu. It forms 3 Stargazer, 2 Bastion, 2 Brawler, 2 Fateweaver, 2 Replicator, 2 N.O.V.A., 2 Timebreaker, and 1 Redeemer.

At level 6, you usually do not activate 3 Stargazer yet. If you have The Mountain Stargazer without a Stargazer Emblem, or if you have not rolled Maokai, play Twisted Fate first to keep traits and transition quality stable.

At level 7, you complete the core trait shell. After adding Rhaast at level 8, the standard board is finished. The 3-star priority is Lulu, Jax, then Milio. Chase Pantheon if you have many copies, and only chase Maokai when you are very rich.

Emblems

Prioritize The Mountain Stargazer Emblem and Timebreaker Emblem. The Mountain Stargazer Emblem lets the comp access key Stargazer hex value earlier, while Timebreaker Emblem helps strengthen the mid-game transition and expand traits later.

Without a fitting Emblem, do not sacrifice unit quality just to activate higher Stargazer tiers. First 3-star Lulu, Jax, and Milio; real unit quality matters more than inflated trait numbers.

Items

Main Carry Lulu prioritizes Jeweled Gauntlet, Nashor's Tooth, and Nashor's Tooth. Double mana-start maximizes Stargazer trigger frequency, while Jeweled Gauntlet adds burst damage.

Main Tank Jax prioritizes Gargoyle Stoneplate, Crownguard, and Gargoyle Stoneplate. Gargoyle Stoneplate is mandatory, Crownguard improves damage reduction, and the third item should continue adding resistance-based tank stats.

Secondary Carry Milio prioritizes Spear of Shojin, Rabadon's Deathcap, and Morellonomicon. If Lulu is not 3-star but Milio is, Morellonomicon can sit on Lulu temporarily before you finish Milio items.

Item Breakdown

Build AP items and tank items at the same time, then add a second AP item set later. Lulu is the first priority, Jax items keep the frontline stable, and Milio provides the second AP damage point.

Lulu is best with standard Jeweled Gauntlet plus double mana-start. Her strongest Stargazer effects all care about cast frequency: The Mountain gives crowd control, The Medallion generates money from casts, and The Serpent uses frequent casts to shred Magic Resist.

Jax itemization is similar to the Twisted Fate comp. Gargoyle Stoneplate is mandatory, Crownguard is the preferred second item, and the third should keep adding resistances. If you cannot make those, then consider Health tank items. Maokai is expensive and can become inflated, so he is usually not built as the main tank.

Milio has a long cast animation, so one mana-start item plus two damage items is enough. Since the board only activates 2 Fateweaver, Jeweled Gauntlet is also a usable damage item for Milio.

Comp Breakdown

This TFT comp is very strong and matches up especially well into Master Yi. Jax's ability naturally counters melee dive-ins, and when Milio and Lulu are on the same side as Master Yi, their AOE can often break Edge of Night and finish him off in the same sequence.

Once capped, the comp has a high win rate, but watch out for Jax hero augment players and Miss Fortune players contesting your units. If your shops are poor, do not force it.

Positioning

Position the team inside Stargazer hexes, and try to keep Milio and Lulu on the same side as the enemy main carry. This lets their AOE reach key units faster, and into Master Yi it is especially good at breaking Edge of Night before finishing the kill.

Put Jax on the core frontline Stargazer hex, with Pantheon and Maokai helping absorb the first wave of damage. Twisted Fate, Milio, and Lulu should spread in the backline. In final rounds, swap sides based on the enemy main carry position.

Divine Choice

Varus giving a Lesser Champion Duplicator is excellent and helps you chase 3-star cores. Yasuo's Wind, Fire, and Ice hexes can all raise the comp's cap, and Ahri's economy is also very comfortable.

For other Divine choices, decide based on your items and Stargazer hexes. Prioritize making sure Lulu, Jax, and Milio can reliably complete their 3-star upgrades.

Gameplan

The best early-game bridge is 3 Timebreaker. If your board quality is not good enough, you can use Twisted Fate or 3 Primordian without leveling and loss-streak for economy and carousel priority.

Around 3-2, level to 6 and roll for 2-star Jax or Pantheon plus 2-star Milio. With a big win streak, you can level to 7 on 3-7 before rolling.

Level to 7 on 4-1 or 4-2, roll for full 2-star quality, then save gold. Around 4-5 or 5-1, roll hard for Lulu, Jax, and Milio 3-star. Chase Pantheon if you have many copies, and chase Maokai only when you are very rich.

After hitting your 3-star core units, level to 8 and add Rhaast to complete the board. If one core unit has very few copies, you can also level to 8 first to complete traits, then keep slow-rolling.
